ELF The P.E.O. Educational Loan Fund (ELF) was established in 1907 to lend money to qualified women students in need of financial assistance to secure a higher education. All applicants for the ELF Loan Fund must be recommended by a local chapter of the P.E.O. Sisterhood. The maximum loan amounts are $12,000 for an accredited non-degree program or an associate degree; $15,000 for bachelor’s degree programs; $20,000 for master’s degree programs; and $25,000 for doctoral degree programs. PCE The Program for Continuing Education (PCE) was established in 1973 to provide need-based grants to women in the U.S. and Canada whose education has been interrupted. The maximum grant amount of $4,000 is awarded to women who return to school to complete a degree or certification that will improve their marketable skills for employment to support themselves and/or their families. |

IPS The P.E.O. International Peace Scholarship (IPS) Fund was established in 1949 to provide scholarships for international women students to pursue graduate study in the United States and Canada. The maximum award amount is $12,500. |

Scholar Awards P.E.O. Scholar Awards (PSA) was established in 1991 to provide substantial merit–based awards for women of the United States and Canada who are pursuing a doctoral level degree at an accredited college or university. PSA is a competitive scholarship program available to doctoral level women.The maximum award amount is $25,000. |

Star Scholarship The P.E.O. STAR Scholarship was established in 2009 to provide scholarships to exceptional high school senior women to attend an accredited post-secondary educational institutions in the United States and Canada in the next academic year. The award amount is $2,500. |

P.E.O. FOUNDATION The P.E.O. Foundation was established to encourage tax-exempt gifts and bequests from individuals in order to benefit the growth of P.E.O. ‘s charitable and educational projects. The Foundation is not a project but is a service to the P.E.O. Sisterhood. Individuals and chapters can establish a permanently endowed fund, named as the donor wishes, and is often established in the donor’s name or in the name of the one being honored or memorialized. The P.E.O. Foundation stands as a trusted channel for impactful giving. |
